I’m a planner, what can I say! From keeping a 3-ring binder filled with handwritten notes on how to level up my RuneScape account since age nine to singlehandedly organizing a campus music festival for my honors senior thesis... I’ve always had a passion for bringing ideas to life. That same energy carried me through an educational background in accounting, management, and marketing, which has been the perfect foundation for understanding how to manage finances, lead people, and drive sustainable growth.

Having met Mathew through the local music scene, I ended up producing a handful of music videos with him and I just fell in love [with the industry]. Successfully managing and executing a project is rewarding in itself, but working with people and providing a high quality experience is what I thrive on.

At Ext.Night, I’m in my element. I oversee day-to-day operations, manage our finances, and make sure every project runs like a well-oiled machine. I handle everything from budgeting and client contracts to scheduling shoots, managing vendors, and coordinating post-production. I also focus on long-term strategy like building partnerships, shaping our brand direction, and developing systems that help us scale sustainably.

I’ve had a camera in my hands since I was just a kid, starting strong with a Super8. I remember I made the decision of what I wanted to do when I was 9 years old watching (and rewatching) The Lord of the Rings "behind the scenes." When I was 14, I hit the road with bands to film them on tour until I was 18. That was a formative experience for me and lead me down a creative path working with musicians on documentary style footage, live performance shots, and perhaps most prominently, music videos. While I skipped the traditional film school route, I've spent the last 2 decades gaining hands-on experience and learning everything I could about production, directing, cinematography, lighting, editing, and color grading. Ext.Night is only a few years old now, but I've been doing this my entire life.

 

The term "EXT.NIGHT" refers to a screenplay heading that describes where and when a scene takes place. Looking back, all the screenplays I had written over the years started with some variation of Exterior Night, and it became synonymous with new beginnings and creativity for me. It felt like the perfect fit for this production company that I started with Jona. We now work with some incredibly talented creators, and we've had the opportunity to work with some of our favorite artists and labels. In 2025, I won my first Emmy after years of hard work, and I'm excited to continue down this path.
